VELUX EHF FINAL4 2016

Sport Events

The match is a thriller, the crowd is going crazy: the last game in the European handball Champions League final in Cologne brings emotions in the hall to boiling point. And then a surprise result: Vive Tauron Kielce wins the trophy – the first Polish club to do so.

It is the perfect end to a great weekend of sport, which was the culmination of months of behind-the-scenes preparation by the entire production team. Despite this, the tight schedule is one of the biggest challenges facing the team. The Lanxess Arena is available just 24 hours in advance for the entire technical set-up and the artists' rehearsals.

Four opening shows and the winners' ceremony had to be developed, planned and implemented. One particular highlight is the video animations, with which the actors interact live on stage – crossing boundaries in a way that characterises the entire concept.

Handball, live performances, animated art and technology all fuse together to form a truly unique, emotional experience.
